Here I go again. This site's not German (for a change), but it is dictionary-oriented, or more precisely, it's an encyclopedia, as it doesn't concentrate on language, but facts. A really excellent resource of information on any aspect of Harry Potter.

Harry Potter Fanfiction

FanFiction.Net
No way I can omit this one. The best known and biggest fanfiction archive on the net with a HUGE Harry Potter Section. However, it is because of this hugeness that good stories are sometimes extremely hard to find and it is more effective to turn to smaller, more specialized archives.

FictionAlley Five domains, five colours, five sections: The Dark Arts for dark-themed stories, Schnoogle for novel-length fics, Astronomy Tower for romance, Riddikulus for humour and Artistic Alley for fanart. An amazing site.

The Sugar Quill
Webmasters: Zsenya and Arabella
An extensive Harry Potter fanfiction and fanart archive. It contains way too much fluff and romance for my taste, but it's still great. One of its unique features is that each story gets beta-read before it's uploaded. Reviews you get from readers tend to be very thorough.

skyehawke dot com :: archives & forums
A nicely designed fansite, consisting of an archive of 'well-written' (for some reason mostly slash) fanfiction from various fandoms including HP and an intelligent discussion forum. The fanfic archive's selective: new authors can be only invited by existing users.

Glass Onion
A multifandom archive containing, among others, HP fanfics. And it can boast a pure CSS tableless design, which is my dream for this site. ;)

Dystopia
Webmaster: Breese
A nicely-designed and very appropriately named site containing fanfiction (and also essays) on Tom Marvolo Riddle. I highly recommend to check it out!

Riddlefics
A list for Riddlefans to share their fics or fanart, and discuss all that relates to Tom Riddle. Gen, slash, and het stories, all pairings, all ratings. You don't have to be list member to read the stories in the Links.

A magnificent selective fanfiction archive.

Another part of TFN where you can find good SW fanfiction.

The Star Wars Section of this site may not be as vast as the one devoted to Harry Potter, but it's still extensive enough to keep you busy for a very long time. There's a lot of trash, but if you can dig well you can discover real gems.
