YONDER HILLS
Written by Helen Vader
Darkness has shrouded the heads of yonder hills
Somehow I know that the night has come for me
Hearing the water's haunting lullaby
Seeing the fire in your eye
Darkness has shrouded the sides of yonder hills
Wild is the wind tearing at a blooming tree
Sad is the seagulls' singing as they fly
Cold is your laughter as I cry
Darkness has shrouded the feet of yonder hills
Pale is the moon's face a-mirrored in the sea
Soft is the night-veil falling from the sky
Clouding my vision as I die
